One of the biggest stars of today’s jazz, double bassist Avishai Cohen is in some ways a discovery of the Belgrade Jazz Festival, where he performed back in 2007. Delighting audiences with an eclectic contemporary approach to jazz with touches of Jewish musical tradition, the charismatic double bassist has established himself as a global leader of today’s generation of jazz authors. At his second Belgrade concert, he presents two new exceptional talents from the Israeli scene, pianist Omri Mor and percussionist Itamar Doari .
